As a society, we have been conditioned into "hustling" as a way for us to be considered successful.
Hustle with study to get the degree; hustle at work to get the promotion; hustle in business to be rich and step back from working all the time; hustle at the gym to get that sexy body that will get you whoever you want.....
Sounds awesome! What does it cost though? Is it at the price of your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health?
As my coach, @hollyloxton_coach has told me many times, the very fact that you're alive and breathing means you're a success.
You could decide to sit on a mountain top for the rest of your life and you would still be successful.
I had a beautiful conversation with marketing legend/guru @jasminekemp__ the other day where she reminded me of this very thing... And the fact that we confuse earning lots of money with success.
I'm not ballin (yet) but I still consider myself successful.
I have a roof over my head, I can eat whatever food I want, whenever I want, I have access to clean water and hot showers, I have beautiful people around me that love me for me and I get to serve humanity in a way that I feel is important.
Sounds pretty sweet to me.
I'm here to remind you (because even if you don't know it intellectually, your heart does) that you're already wealthy and successful.
Money is not a marker or at least it shouldn't be.
Instead, maybe look at how you get to spend most of your time and with who.
That right there is how I measure my success.
∆ Does what you do make you happy?
∆ How are you serving others?
∆ Are the people around you your cheerleaders?
∆ Are your people kind, compassionate and understanding?
∆ Do they celebrate your differences?
∆ How's your health?
∆ How often to do you get to do what you want when you want?
Measuring your wealth by material things is so Piscean Age.
We're heading into Aquarius, babe.
What I'm talking about is the way of the future.
Get on board and feel the happiness you were born to feel 🪐
Want to really get in tune with nature? With who you really are?
Remember who the fuck you are - a spiritual being having a human experience. This means you can do anything with your life.
Don't end up on your death bed regretting what you didn't do because you were too afraid of failing.
I'll let you in on a little secret....there's no such thing as failing unless you give up completely.
If something doesn't go the way you intended, it's a valuable lesson. Take heed so that you don't repeat the same thing twice and have another go.
Repeat until you achieve your goal and hey presto! Achievement accomplished. Now onto the next thing.
Enjoy each step, each mistake, the process on learning to get to where you want to go.
The purpose of life is simply to live. So go live the shit out of it!
